Custom Domains and Auto SSL: The Complete Setup Guide

Every production app needs a custom domain and HTTPS. On Remoud, it takes 2 minutes.

Step 1: Deploy Your App

Get your app running on Remoud first. Verify the default URL works.

Step 2: Add Your Domain

Go to the Domains tab and enter your domain (e.g., app.yourdomain.com).

Step 3: Update DNS

• CNAME for subdomains: point to your Remoud URL
• A record for root domains: point to the server IP

Step 4: Automatic SSL

Once DNS propagates (1–10 min), Remoud auto-provisions SSL via Let's Encrypt. Auto-renews.

Troubleshooting

• Check DNS with dig yourdomain.com
• Cloudflare: set to DNS-only (gray cloud)
